Time to play that game, “What’s on Vicki’s mind, by seeing what’s on Vicki’s Kindle!”

I’ve been mentally in Scotland for the past three months. I’m almost done with the book, but if you know anything about Scotland, you know that it can drive anyone insane.

Two things:  First, I am complaining, as usual, about the state of Russian marriage and cooking at the Forward.

Last weekend, I was in Ikea, as I have been every weekend for the past year of my life since we bought this house to practice good old American consumerism (except for when I’m out on the streets). I was browsing their art section because we still have almost no art in the living room and bedrooms.  We have some good stuff in the kitchen, though.  This one’s my favorite:

The blog content lately is pretty terrible, isn’t it? I feel kind of like this.

Here are some pics from an awesome used bookstore we went to over the weekend with my parents, recommended by my friend Andy.  Books will always be my first love.

I know everyone already heard this song, which means I have no hipster cred when I include it, but whatever.  I like it.
