Poem: Autumn
It feels like fall here. It’s rainy and quiet out on the balcony. I was inspired. The result is this poem that sounds like it could have been written by a 3-year old doped up on prescription medications.

»This week has been a little crazy in the Boykis household because I am having a hectic month at work, Mr. B is having a hectic time with car repairs, and we just genocided a bunch of ants. It has been a crazy week in the world, as well.
»Over on Jewlicious, I have some ideas about where Gaddafi should pitch his tent.

»Today is September 11. That’s crazy. I can’t believe it’s been eight years since 9/11. I remember when it first happened, I was in 10th grade and didn’t really process what was going on. I thought it was a joke. I still haven’t.
»_Note: Can you believe I’m still in Israel? Do you miss me? Ok, so this isn’t really a guest post. It’s more like I bugged Extremely Funny Blogger and Amazing American oleh (immigrant to Israel) Benji Lovitt to write a blog post while I was in Israel, but he was probably too busy being a Big Deal Comedian in Israel to come up with a post (either that, or he didn’t want his name associated with someone who spells humus without a C), so I just stole some of his material from 2006. Enjoy!

»Note: This guest post is by @Krolik, whom I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in person for coffee before she ran off to her ballet lesson and I ran off, embarassed that I’ve never taken ballet and a bit sad that my parents denied me pink tutus. She has a lovely blog, Project Wombat, about raising her son, and is very funny. I’ve never had political posts before, so let it be said that I don’t necessarily agree or disagree with this post about the healthcare reform issue. All I know is that we need to include Nutella in the bill as a healing elixir.
